Works on Paper

Recent works involve printing on both paper and fabric.  Gelatin plate prints of seaweed on paper were deconstructed and reconstructed by sewing  together tessellating quadrilaterals, creating "paper quilts".

 Fabric for the quilts was created with  linoleum prints of kelp, eel grass and sea lettuce on silks. The black and white yardage was printed by Spoonflower, an online company, using my gelatin prints.
