This series of works is based on forms of ocean algae, and the fascinating dangers and benefits of changing patterns in algae growth due to warming waters.  

Left to right the thumbnails are: 

Microdictyon Setchellianum, Phaeophyta, Red Tide HABs (Private Collection), Cyanophyta, Didymo (Private Collection), Rhodophyta, Diatoms (Private Collection), Sargasso Sea, Coral Contamination, and Weed Wars.
