Recent work stems from my desire to acknowledge global warming by focusing on species that are endangered due to changing climates. Polar bears in the Artctic, Tanana River butterflies in Alaska, piping plovers and quahogs of Massachusetts and coral reefs throughout the world are endangered by melting ice, warming waters and reduced land areas in which to breed.
